25 best games you can play if you have low budget pc

Before we proceed...

Before we go on towards the list I am assuming you have atleast 2gb graphic card in your pc to play these games on low to medium graphics quality. I have tested these games on Nvidia gt 730 2gb graphic card, 8gb ram and i5 2nd gen processor. Let's go on towards the list. Below is the list.

1. Grand Theft Auto V

Starring three protagonists. This game offers you many gun fights, races, robberies, flying jets and many more. You can play this game in offline and online through steam. You can purchase it from here for multiplayer experience. 

2. Far Cry 3

One of the best first person shooter (FPS) open world experience you will ever get. You will feel every interaction the protagonist has with many characters in this game. Best survival experience you can get with different weapons and loadouts, hunting animals,crafting recipes and gunfights. 

3. Wolfenstein : The Old Blood

First person shooter game offering gruesome gunfights,killing animations and best storyline. This game was pretty short for my taste but it deserves adding to the list because yeah it's Awesome. 

4. Assassin's Creed IV : Black Flag

Although assassin's creed is a huge series and it's other parts are pretty good too but this one deserves getting added to the list. This game offers you third person shooter experience of a pirate protagonist fighting The New Order who wants to gain control of the world. 

5. Devil May Cry 4

This game starts with two main protagonists Dante and Nero with their own signature guns and swords. Get ready to kill monsters, demons, angels. The best thing about this game is the combat style and how you can kill any enemy with many combinations of swords, guns and rocket launchers.

6. BattleField I

Despite some of this game's bad reviews, you should play it first and decide. This game gives you variety of stories of different protagonists and gives a brief impression of WWI. Get this game if you want some WWI first person shooter experience.

7. Mad Max

Have you watched the movie Mad Max? This game offers similar environment yet completely different with a good storyline. Earth is not the same as we know it now. Max travels the wasteland as a survivor. You can customize vehicles, upgrade max's abilities and weapons and explore the world. Definitely worth adding to the list.

8. Metro : Last Light

This game is a a sequel to metro 2033 and is one of the best games. The world has been destroyed by a nuclear holocaust and you play this game as a soldier of the survivor group which is packed underneath the city. This game is guaranteed to give you thoughts of what would happen if this all becomes true. 

9. Batman: Arkham City

Whether you are a DC fan or a Marvel fan, you should play this game. You won't regret your decision.

10. Saints Row IV

I think this is the most underrated game but I enjoyed every bit of it. You can fully customize your characters and this game has variety of weapons which you can use to kill enemies. If you are looking for fun type games, get this one.

11. Alien : Isolation

This game is basically first person and falls into horror,survival and stealth category. You have choices on how to play this game. Either dodge the enemies or face them head on. If you want to experience true fear, play this game now.

12. Call of Duty :Ghosts

Although this game gets hate and is pretty short for my taste, let's discuss the factors of why this game should be in the list. Good storyline, detailed character development (you can get attached to the characters emotionally) and decent graphics. Definitely play this game and decide for yourself.

 

13. Crysis 3

I have many memories with this game, it never gets old. This game offers one of the finest gameplay and story line, full packed with action and cutscenes. Use bow and go silently or go guns blazing killing aliens, it's upto you.

 This game holds up even in 2020 and can challenge next gen games till 2020. 

14. Dead Island : Riptide

This game is a sequel to dead island game and gives one of the most enjoyable killing zombies experience. Although this game falls into horror, survival category, you will enjoy killing zombies. You can choose the characters, each has different weapon and set of combos. The most unique part of this game is that you can mod your weapons to do ultimate damage towards zombies. There are zombie boss fights too in this game and this all makes it worth adding into the list.

 15. Dishonored

This game was developed by Arkane Studios which are one of the best game development studios in the world. This game is unique in every sense. You can approach this game with stealth gameplay or you can go loud or you can mix both. You can use combinations of swords, guns and powers. Play this game if you haven't already.

16. Homefront : The Revolution

This game is a fantastic first person shooter game of it's time as a decade is passed when this game came out. I would give this game 8/10. What's not to like? You are fighting as a resistance group which are fighting to get their freedom back. Awesome gameplay, stroyline, weapon customization and graphics are all the things that make this game worth adding to the list. 

17. Injustice: Gods Among Us

This game has 30 different characters with unique moves and powers. You can play this game story mode (which is good too) or you can have a friendly battle with your friends. if you are a fan of DC comics, definitely get this game.

18. BioShock Infinite

This game came out in 2013 and suddenly became favourite for everyone.  This game has everything. Amazing visuals and details, story plot with many twists, many characters with good character development  and a good ending for a fps game. The combat in this game is top notch, variety of weapons and powers from which you can choose how to kill the enemies. This game is fun to play and is gonna keep you hooked till the very end. 

19. Mafia II

If gta series never existed, this game would have taken the spot light. One of the best open world action games of the decade. Mafia II takes place between 1940s and 1950s. Good story-line and lots of gunfights between mobs and gangster families. This game is worth getting if you want to play a ganster game.

20. Mass Effect 3

If you loved mass effect previous games then you will absolutely love this one. Every choice can have an impact on the game. Good visual story telling, awesome graphics, getting emotionally connected to the characters, great selection of music and awesome killing galactic aliens experience are the things this game delivers. What more do you need? 

21. Max Payne 3

Another rockstar game that deserves getting added to the list. This is one of the games you can get hooked till the very end. One of the best single player shooter game with a good dark story line and graphics. 

22. Metal Gear Rising : Revengeance 

This game is another single person slashing game yet unique in it's own way. This game will give you one of the best ninja boss fight and has an awesome story-line. 

23. Prototype 2

This game is successor of prototype 1. Both games are good and deserve to be added into the list. This games is purely focused on action. You will fight monsters, creatures and you will use powers to play this game as you want. One of the most enjoyable plots this game has.

24. Rage

This game is a traditional shooter game which is set in a post apocalyptic world. The combat (both on feet and car) is awesome in this game. The weapons are extremely powerful. Everyone you meet will want to kill you and you have to survive. This game is filled with lots of side quests. You can and must upgrade your vehicle and skills to survive. The graphics and details in this game is next gen and will run smoothly on your pc. 

25. Sleeping Dogs

You will play as a undercover cop in this game tasked with infiltrating the criminal underbelly of Honk Kong. This is a open world action game (quite similar to gta). You will have to fight like a martial artist. Learn more fight moves, more finishers to do heavy damage to your enemies. There will be many intense gunfights, blood will be everywhere you go. One of the most gritty and brutal but awesome plot this game has.
